Ok - I contemplated going against nearly all the road ranked teams - I guess i decided to throw that strategy out the window for today
- but I'm going to look back when the day is done and see how that strategy would have done.
One play I've been eyeing up all week - and I've decided to throw it down on - is Penn State. I follow the Big Ten very closely and this is a matchup nightmare for Purdue. They should give up a ton of yardage and big plays to PSU today. I always like to side with a team that has blowout potential - even against a team in their conference. Purdue almost upset Oregon, then blew it and lost by 6. I thought they played out of their minds that game. They lost to 17 vs. Notre Dame and this Penn State team is so far superior to Notre Dame. Offensively I like them to finish off most drives with points. Defensively I think PSU rattles Purdue and creates a few turnovers. Penn State is the best team in the big 10 and they show it today. I just hope they don't call off the dogs early - they better put this team away and keep trying to score. One thing that does scare me just a tad is last week they were favored by 15, won by 14. At the end of game they were just trying to run it out - and Illinois ended that game w/ 2 timeouts left - they should have used them and PSU should have been able to attempt a FG for a possible cover. Hope this game is out of reach by the final few minutes. I was also looking at Baylor and Iowa - and seems alot are on these 2 dogs - but just couldn't pull the trigger on them - I'm going w/ one game in the early games - and making it a nice size play. PSU routs Purdue today. Hopefully you can get this at less than 2 TD's. Shop your outlets and get best line you can. GL!
