Army -4 over UTEP ***
Nites are 2-0..4th in the nation in rushing yds...but most importantly no fumbles or turnovers...they lost their starting corner back in a car accident this wee....really sad...no one knows how they will effect them...UYEP has a super back....Army needs to contain him..Army should have a pretty good crowd at the game with some Army bases near by...

Rutgers -6.5 over New Mex ****
Nites were down to Howard 14-0 last week..they did wake up and won big...Lobos lost to N Mex St ...but they lost their top def player and a running back...Lobos run the triple option..think the Jersey DL and LB's who have played poorly wake up...nites qb is very inconsistent...playing at home before the B-10 season starts..think new coach has his kids waking up...

Florida -36 over North Texas ***
NT will start a 5'9 qb today..they benched the transfer from Bama...Ol will have problems protecting him...he will have problems seeing over his own OL let alone the gator Dl..def will have problems stopping gators offense...

Navy -5 over Tulane **
Both run the option...Navy's is just a little better...

BYU +3 over UCLA **

Ohio St -1.5 over OU ****
Despite Bucks young kids on defense think Ohio St has better OL and DL line...just as athletic and quick and has Urban

overall 5-12 -17*'s pretty bad...

Smax...listened to the game on the radio....wow these guys are playing tough...gained over 600 yds vs UTEP.... a friend of mine who works at the Point really likes Monken...guy is a real standup guy....its funny when you hear hear all the stories about Ellison and how he had no control at all...so many players quit.....one thing Monken did was the Point has a prep school like Air Force and Navy.... most of its seniors already graduated from their high schools...they are there to improve on there football schools....Think almost 1/3 of Navy's and Air Forces team comes from those preps.... Monken cut so many of these guys because it was almost automatic they made the team...and they weren't very good...they are 3-0 with Buffalo,Duke,Lafayette,and my North Texas...think Duke could be a problem away...but they could be 6-1....and with kicking off Kemper their one superstar Monken isn't playing.....its been so many years the Nites have been terrible.....and to think their best player so far this year was a linebacker turned full back in the spring.....Go Black Knights..

Last night lost a 7 team teaser with Texas +3....did anyone see the end of the game....with under two minutes Cal scores a td....the player is so far open when he scores, he drops the ball before the goal line...you can see it clearly...the ball bounces around for a few seconds and lands in the end zone...a texas player touches the ball not knowing the ball never crossed the goal....Strong is yelling its a touchback....the review guys give Cal the ball on the 1 with a 1st down... have to read some Austin papers to see what the rules are...TV announcers said something like the ball was left alone to long....abandoned . think it should of been touchback...

have done so bad the 1st 2 weeks...finally had a winning day...its tough climbing out of a hole....and it was a deep freak'in hole..
