West Vir -10 over Texas *****
Think this is a bad matchup for the Longhorns this afternoon...Texas has trouble shooting,protecting the ball,and defense..WV leads the nation in creating turnovers..they can shoot and score...have depth and big momentum after blowing Baylor out of West Vir...the front court of WV is tough with Adrian,Ahmad and Wat all 6'8 and 6'9...they all avg around 10 pts and 10 rebounds...Longhorns look out of sync....no true pt gd and that will be their biggest problem...going against the WV pressure with no ball handlers...also longhorns best player Mack is suspendned again...he is their leading scorer and one of their top rebounders...Shaka is in trouble and with Baylor and Kansas next on the road and Mack's status unknown its going to be a long week here in Austin....I am going to the game so that should be fun and on Tuesday my son's future wife who lives here in Austin and is a Baylor grad bought me tickets to the Texas-Baylor game in Waco for Christmas...never been to Waco....think Huggy Bear puts his foot on the pedal today and wins big...also Texas ranks in the 300's in about 5 or 6 NCAA stats..

Think Hall has a much better team and has Carrington..

Rice -12.5 over North Texas ***
Thought Evans was the star of this team...one of the most under rated gds in the country...then wing Koulechov comes along and is better....think they blow away NT who can't defend anyone..

XU +4.5 over Butler **
Notre Dame +3 over VT **

UTA -4.5 over Troy ***
Mavs after Tx St loss wake up..way to much talent

Nova -12.5 over Johnnies **
ETSU -20 over West Carolina **
Only to make up 2 of my lost *'s from the other nite vs Greenboro

Canisius -10 over Marist ***
Griffs in 1st place....after Rider lost last nite...unreal...Reggie from Buffalo has these kids playing his style and he doesn't have his type of players yet...pretty impressive..Foxes need Hart and Parker to both score big..they can't get together..one scores big the other doesn't...next nite opposite...

Iona -5 over Quinn ***
If Iona can't beat this bad Quinn team by more then 5 they should just hang it up....this line should be Iona -12 but because of their poor defense its close...

Monmouth -8 over Niagara **
Another huge disappointment....what has happened to the Hawks...Robinson at the pt is still one of the best pt gds in the East...Purple have one guy that could start for the Hawks..Scott and thats it...

Bonnies -8,5 over Fordham ****
Bonnies gds are big time...think they win this by double digits...strong play..

Rider-Manhattan recap
OMG..watched the entire game on ESNPU...Beside Waterman having a career nite for Manhattan the Rider coach Babbs needs his head examined...up 9 pts with a few minutes in the the 1st half...Jordan makes a layup to go up 9...then I guess he felt like he was fouled and says something to the ref.. gets a T....then 12 seconds later Waterman hits a 3 and Babbs says something to the ref...another T...7 point swing in 12 seconds...instead of being up 9 they go into the half tied...and get a 13-2 run since the Techs...wow...that was a killer even though Rider did have numerous chances to go ahead later....not making excuses..I lost..the only thing I was right on was...nobody was in the gym...empty stands....and Rider coach is a knuckehead...and last week he forgot to put in Taylor in the 2nd half...in the Marist game...after getting 3 fouls in the 1st half..that should of told me something....my bad though...sorry

Box, going to miss today's game. Gave my tickets to a friend.
Texas has no one to steer the boat, and it's taking on water rapidly without Mack's points. Yancy ??( his foot was in a boot a few days ago.) Team does not quit, but does not know how to finish before the half or end of game. Big trouble!! May not win another conference game. Sad days for Longhorn supporters. Stands have been half occupied during the holidays.
You haven't missed much by not visiting Waco. Have a good time.

Watched the last 5 mins or so of Rider...tough loss and yeah that kid Waterman was in the zone. Even with that, if the guy hits a 5 shot on that last possession...prob OT.

I heard the announcers talking about the technical fouls and how they should have been up so much more in 1st half.

I will say....I don't like instant replay in sports....I did at first but its not fair for so many reasons....and that game last night....I watched maybe the last 4-5 mins of the game....it was absolutely brutal. I had money on it and I almost turned it off with less than a minute to go. I hated that I had money on it, it was that bad to watch.

I know some announcer alluded to a piece that Real Sports and Bryant Gumbel did on replay and how its not worth it...I'd like to find that and watch it...but for the last few years I've held that opinion too. It ruins the game and I could list several things as to how its not fair....I mean, its good in theory but at the end of the day....you've got multiple ref's...just let them decide it. I am not a fan of "human error is part of the game" but I just think the replay overall has not worked at all.
