Sparks on the mound today..seems that Detroit has a solid starting corps for next year, and they continue to be competative at home..what more could you ask for?
Oakland won a close one last nite in a game that MOST people thought detroit hould never have been in.
If I have to say this again: DETROIT IS A GREAT TEAM AT HOME FOR THE FIRST TWO GAMES!!!
Zito has been very cold of lately...liking the better pitcher and the home team.
2) K.C +160 over minny
wilson is probably now the ace of the staff (it's easy to say that..) and with KC again, having no business being in the game last nite, watch for their confidence to grow against a cold minny team since after the all star break. I think -180 is too high of a price to lay against Wilson who is pitching very well...Minny has pressure, KC hasn't had pressure in over 10 years...
3) looking for atlanta at -1.5 lines aren't up, but i will find it for later.
4) pitts +110 over colorado
pitts has to win one game in this series and this seems to be the one. Pitts showed that they can hit with the big boys in coors last nite, and with a better pitcher on the mound, they should be able to knock off colorado and a lousy chacon.
Chacon, for those that don't know, has a lousy career record vs pitts (of all teams..)
5) HOUSTON -1.5 -105
oswalt vs ohka...well, seems like a mismatch on paper and i'll take that anyday.
