I'm playing the following for Sat:
FL/Philly under 9u: Burnett recent form a little off, but 2.4 ERA on the road and his general excellence is positive, and I don't anticipate the Phils hitting him too hard; on the other side, acknowledge that Daal recent form is bad, but quiet Marlin bats and low recent pitch counts for Daal recently make me believe he can keep Florida quiet here
Boston/Toronto over 10o: poor recent form for both pitchers jumps out at me, and neither has been world beaters this year to make me think a hidden gem lurks here; the waking up of Toronto's bats here and Boston's recent hitting give me more encouragement with this play
KC/Clev under 10u: Wilson's numbers for KC have been impressive thus far; Colon's last outing against KC was solid, so I expect that again for a guy who should have better numbers than he does; neither team's bats demonstrate any real patterns lately, so nothing there scares me about under the total here
Good luck today.
Another total I'm considering but haven't played as of yet: Oakland and Texas over the total - Hiljus, for Oakland, was a minor league contract guy, so it's not like he is a world beater, though his minor league numbers were decent; on the other side, Rogers' recent form has been horrific and Oakland has knocked him around this year; what scares me here, now, is the high number (11 or 11') and the general inconsistency of these teams' bats - can they hit again tonight?
