this game starts in about ten minutes, but i played nc state +170 in the first super-regional game today in miami. this wolfpack team is very scrappy and this year's miami team not one of their best. while i'm not sure state would have a chance if they met the hurricanes later in a series round robin matchup, first game of the series i think they can hang.

nc state blows a six run lead to lose 10-9 to a walk-off home run with two out in the ninth. i'll need an extra double to choke that one down.

Heartbreaker for the Pack today. I think Avent left Rogers in a bit too long and not scoring in the 9th with men on 2nd and 3rd and 1 out was a killer. The kid for Miami is a hell of a hitter and the two he out were absolute blasts...Just hoping Sterry can get us to Monday. Nice to see the Heels go home today though!
