2-1-1 lat night as rays and expos score 8 after six innings then snooze the last three to leave us hanging on the hook. record since posting 14-9-4. two for today:

tb/mon over 8-: may be stubborn but going to try these two over again. armas in a swoon L3, 9.82 era, 17.18 mba, allowing 21 er in last 21.2 innings. rekar 7.98 era L3, 15.95 mba, 5.37 day era, 6.70 road era. montreal bats continue hot, hitting .323 L10 averaging 6.3 rpg. home plate ump klemm only has two games under his belt this year, splitting 1-1 o/u but interesting stat has him with so/w ratio of 1.14, lowest i've seen.

kc/pit under 9-: going to try this one based on kc offensive slump - 9 game losing streak, shut out L2, hitting .175 vs lefties L10. interesting stat for wilson is eye-catching 0.57 daytime era, giving up 1 er in 15.1 innings. home plate ump eddings should help out, 5-11 under this year. 9-25 under last year, so/w ratio of 3.14, 8.18 rpg.

one unit each. good luck to all.

Loop,

Excellent note about home plate ump Justin Klemm in that DRays/Expos game. Even though on the surface he doesn't look too much like an over ump, his strike called percentage is relatively low at 62% and as you pointed out that k/bb ratio of 1.14 is extremely low.

I am with you 100% on this over call!!!!

Good luck,
HC

thanks hc, feel like they owe us one after leavindg us hanging last night. adding one more for today:

cle/cin under 11: jusr couldn't let go of this. i know burba has been horrible but geez, there's no dh in this game and it ain't being played in houston or denver so 11 is a bit of an overadjustment imo. cincy about as sorry as they get at home, scored 2 runs in their last two games, hitting .209 vs righties L10. brower 11.25 era L3 a result of being lit up last time out in bos for 8 runs in 3 innings, but other than that has done fairly decently - 3.45 era @ home, 3.79 era daytime. basicly just a knee-jerk play on ths number.

Loop, I with you too on the over TB/Mont. Both pitchers have been horrible last three and though niether team hits well, I think the combination of bad starters and bad pens make for an over.

Unfortunately I have an over of 9. where did you get 8.5?

thanks
bill

early plays 1-1-1 as reds score 5 in the 7th to push a nice under. when was the last time the reds scored five runs in an inning? record stands at 15-10-5. two for tonight:

sd/hou over 10-: just going with the flow. padres 7-2-1 over L10 averaging 5 rpg. hou 7-3 over L10, averaging over 7 rpg and hitting .331 vs righties. teams have already played 8 times this year, 6-1-1 to the over. oh, and there playing in a place called enron. when in rome....

min/mil over 8-: another game looking for hot bats to overcome pitching, and think we're getting the benefit of the hook here. mil hitting .282 vs lefties @ home, .297 vs lefties L10 averaging 7.5 rpg L4. min .309 vs righties L10, averaging 7 rpg. interesting stat on wright is 7.27 era @ night. onora behind the plate shouldn't hurt, 11-5 over this year, 5-1 over in games with total at 8- or less, 10.69 rpg average.

az/ana under 7-u: couldn't resist; currently best two pitchers in the american league imo; neither team an offensive powerhouse.
