YTD: 15-9-2
Xavier hasn't looked great in their last couple but then they haven't been playing at home. X is 43-3 at Cintas including 18-1 vs non-conference teams (the only win was by cross-town rival Cincy) and 19-0 on Saturdays. Tomorrows game should sell out all 10,000+ seats.
But I like the Ragin' Cajuns to stay within ten...they've won the Sun Belt the last two years and are 3-2 this year with both losses to top 25 teams. They lost bad at GT but were missing a number of players to suspensions. They were up 40-31 at the half at #24 Dayton but the short-handed team got fatigued in the 2H and ended up losing 59-66...Cedric Williams and Chris Williams were declared eligible but got stuck in Houston due to bad weather in Dayton.
UL-L has lost Center Michael Southall for the year due to academic ineligibility, but an improving Hamilton and Cedric Williams back in the line-up should start to offset this loss. After a poor showing at GT, Boyd is starting to catch fire.
Xavier is awfully tough at home but I think ten is too many for them to cover against a very good mid-major.
