Looking to improve on yesterday's profitable day w/the NFL on the horizon..

Colorado -105 --Bottom line, the kid Jennings has been outstanding. In his 3 starts this year, he's 3-0 w/a 1.23 ERA. the Giants have seen him once before, which makes me a little nervous though. In that appearance he allowed 1 run over 7 IP. Rueter on the other side has been mediocre and has lost 2x to the Rocks w/a 5.60 ERA...and is a much lesser pitcher on the road. With all the atteniton on Bonds, someone better remind the Giants that they are still chasing for the division!! SF 32-38 on the road...Rocks (who have improved a bit as of late), 34-35 @ home.

Chi Cubs +102-- Honestly, more of a gut feel than anything. With Rondell back in the lineup, it gives the Cubs a bit more punch...and it's no secret that the Braves have been struggling to score runs. I look for revenge today on yesterdays's loss to Atlanta.

San Diego +118-- Lawrence and Anderson have pitched very well against the opposing team today (Lawrence 0 ER over 8, Anderson w/a 1.40 over 19IP). Looking at Arizona, they are 18 over .500. Take away Schilling and Johnson's starts, what's their record when "other guys" pitch?? I don't know, but I am sure it's under .500. The Pads are road warriors at 37-31 on the highway...

NY Mets +115-- Gonna ride 'em til they lose. They've won 5 straight and are going to try and make the race interesting. Chen is a tough LHP and has pitched well since the trade from Philly. Last time I checked...Dempster was leading the NL if free passes. I'll take my chance with the hot team as a dog.

Toronto -135-- Briefly, a play on Halladay (2-0, 19IP, 2.37ERA, 9.9 AHWG over the last 3 starts). Toronto has been torching left handers lately...and Murray w/the 6.22 ERA should be next.

Texas -165-- I used Raymond's stat of KC being a horrible play vs left handers...something like 6-27. Texas has won of 7 of 10 and DOES his lefties well. George has really struggled the last 3 times out, with nearly an 8 ERA...last time vs. Texas, 5 IP and 6 Earned runs.

Cleveland -185-- Here comes the lumber. If Sabathia wins out, he has a shot to win 20 games. He has beaten Chicago 3 times this year and has a 2.29 ERA against them in those starts. Also, he is 13-2 with a 3.70 in night games. Playing with revenge off of last night's loss too.... If they come through, it could be one of the final nails in the White Sox coffin.

Hit all 7 yesterday...looking to play "that magic number" of games today!! Good luck today.
