Cincy -111......I've made it clear that I am not a fan of VanPoppel, but Earlton is much worse, and in all honestly could be the worst starting pitcher in the majors. He's got chronic shoulder problems, and the Rockies cut him on May 12th for a reason. I know that he showed some signs of light in a few starts this month vs little leaguers but lets see him do it against Griffey and crew. Also doesn't hurt that if he gets in a jam we'll get some extended innings from the Tribe pen

Everything I see indicates that Martinez will be out tonight as well which is an added bonus.


Looking at a few others will be back -- am curious as to what kind of lines are posted for San Fran.

One more --- well actually two.


Giants game 1 +135 and game 2 +135.....here's my thought process. I'd be very suprised to see the O's sweep this day night double dip. Bonds can DH so you know he's going to play them both and Hermanson has been pretty solid in his last three starts. This kid in game two does scare me a bit but Bedard is bad in his own right and the Giants are 13-6 vs lefties. Really like my chances in getting one of the two, and getting both would be a very nice bonus.

Bonus play -- for what it's worth -- I played Spain -160 in Euro 2004. I know nothing about soccer but saw a trend that caught my eye --- the host nation has not lost their first game in 24 years so I took a shot. Hey you never know :shrug:

It is hosted by Portugal and they actually LOST their opening game today 2-1 to Greece.

Hey Buddy......Great call on the Giants games. One down and one real close to down. FWIW, my early round pick for Euro 2004 is Sweden over Bulgaria. I work for a Swedish company, and in talking to the boys on the other side of the pond, everyone over there is in love with this team. :shrug:
