Lots of afternoon games tomorrow so here are some thoughts to generate discussion.
Dallas@St Louis
Playoff style hockey here. These two teams play each other tight and the Blues are 6-1-3ATS in last 10 meetings. I prefer under 5 in this game as they've only gone over 5 goals in 3 of those last 10 meetings. What makes me like the under even more is that this game is played in early afternoon. Nothing to back this up but IIRC, alot of afternoon NHL games play under.
Washington@Boston
Boston has played a TONNE of hockey lately, this being their 7th game in 11 days (most on the road). I question the Bruins inspiration for this game. They lost to Leafs on Thur and that game had so many implications. a) first place in East b)winning coach gets to coach Eastern Allstar team. Fatigue and possible emotional letdown leans me to the Caps.
Ottawa@Toronto
Fierce rivalry here. History shows that Ottawa owns the Leafs in regular season but choke bigtime when they meet in playoffs. Sens have already beaten the Leafs twice this season. Hopefully it isn't my hometeam bias but I like Leafs here. Reason being that Sens are plagued with injuries and Leafs 13-5-1 at home. BUT (that's a big but), this is a home and home series so it's probable that we'll see a backup goalie. Definitely need to confirm starting goalies at gametime before any wagers.
Florida@San Jose
Florida is my favourite play against situation, 3 games in 4 days with last 2 b2b. Even with SJ playing last nite, who cares...so did Florida and SJ is at home. Problem is steep line. So unless you can get ML to parlay with something else, too pricey for my liking.
