I was on the wrong side of too many close ones today....I know this chit is supposed to even itself out....I was close to having a really nice day, but instead I watched all day as games (or should say) my teams came close to covering but didn't.

through all of these bullchit games, I managed to mark in the positive, but even if I had only won two of those games above (which would be fair in my book), it would have made this day a really good one. Hey mcity,

Thanks for your very complimentary post. The Bows swept BOTH the #1 and #2 preseason faves in the WAC this yr. Quite a story. Yeah, hopefully they will do well in the tourney. Savovic should be rested enough to play. Honestly if I though UH would win outright tonight I would have played the ML, but taking the +5.5 was generous enough. Glad you played it as well.

Lots of close calls for you today indeed. As for me, I play very little big faves. Would rather tease them if the line was reasonable though large. At tourney time utilizing them might be a good idea for underdogs who you think might be getting too many points. How are you getting along with your offshore book research?

So you're getting mucho snow? I'm jealous. It's cold out here right now. Some showers off and on (rain is like that here, comes and goes, aside from the usual torrential downpour) and, like I said, tradewinds are picking up for the upcoming week. Oh yeah, I'm jealous because I have fond memories of when I used to live in Washington, DC. As a kid I liked playing in the snow, putting my cold hands on the radiator and listening to the radiator for school closings.....although I sure don't miss driving in the snow and on ice!
