virginia (-2.5) 2 units. i hit the big one with miami at bc a few days ago, and i'm going to come right back with another anti-bc play. the 'bc is on the bubble' talk was absolutely laughable. virginia may be playing their best ball of the year. they've covered 5 of their last 6, with the only ATS loss by 1 1/2 points against duke. no shame in that. and they have home wins over clemson and va tech during that stretch; both teams are better than bc.
kansas st (-4) 1 unit. unranked k st... already lost to a ranked mizzou team by 16... sagarin says they should only be laying 1.5... still hard for me to trust this heartless team, which is why it's only 1 unit. but they are the play today. oh, and the home team has covered 8 straight in this matchup.
auburn (+3.5) 1 unit. tough to take such a terrible team, but auburn owns arkansas, going 8-0-1 AT against them their last 9 matchups.
iowa st (-1) 2 units. tough spot for the huskers. the big win over texas, followed by a tough loss to k st... and after today, they finish the season with mizzou and colorado. gonna be tough to focus on a trip to ames. iowa st is 13-3-2 ATS the last 18 games against nebraska.
villanova (-6) 1 unit. so tough to take the wildcats here, but i'm just not sold on st johns as being a good team.
ucla (-2) 1 unit. almost identical to thursday night... unranked ucla "should" be getting a point or two from a ranked arizona team... but they are favored, and the line is rising.
kentucky (-8.5) 1 unit. the line practically screams to take florida, doesn't it?
akron (-4) 2 units. no reason to get off the akron gravy train just yet. the zips are doing a great job finishing games.
va tech (+4) 2 units. another line begging you to take duke. i can't even make a legitmate case for va tech... and yet the line is dropping. hmmm....
