Hi Everyone ..

Winner yesterday with Minny and Atlanta. :D

Saturday card .. One game I checked out was

Baltimore Vs Toronto

Woud love to have everyone's opinions on this game. Thanx in advance. Also like LA for tomorrow against Philly as well as Atlanta .
Will decide betn this game and LA and Atlanta.
Will update of course but just wanted to give people somethin to think about.

Toronto -147

Toronto coming off a hard loss yesterday in which they had a 8 run lead which they could not hang onto. Look for Tosca to drill some sense into these jokers.

Inspite of the hard loss on Friday Toronto is playing good ball at home hitting the ball well.

Baltimore in day games this season is 11-22
Toronto in day games is 21-16

In road games Baltimore is 27-29
In home games Toronto is 25-27

one point to note is the Toronto had a disastrous start @ home in the beginnin of the season.

When playing on Saturday Baltimore is 9-8
when playing on Saturday Toronto is 11-6

Coming to the pitchers.

Driskill after winning his first 5 or so on the road has been brought down to earth in his last two starts on the road .. I am sure his confidence is not as high as it was when he visited Toronto last.

His Overall ERA is 5.07 and on the road his ERA drops to 4.15
In 12 starts this seasons his team is 7-5
On the road in 7 games started his team is 5-2

Chris Carpenter has an overall ERA of 4.34 this season.
At home his ERA is 2.57
He has started 2 games at home and team has won both.

Since 1997 at games played at Toronto ..
Toronto is 25-11 against Baltimore ..

In the last 3 seasons .. Toronto is 12-6 against Baltimore ..

The stats for 1997 - present dont mean much since the team composition has totally changed during these years .. but its still a stat .. sometimes a team for no apparent reason does well against another team.

Carpenter has faced Baltimore 2 times this season and has won both games.
Driskill has lost both his starts against Toronto.

.. in this case confidence and mentality plays a huge role in my opinion.
The games these two pitchers played against each other was 7/24/2002 and
7/18/2002 .. These games were played recenntly and i am sure memories of both games are fresh in both pitcher's minds.

Game 1
Carpenter in 7 innings gave up 4 ER on 8 hits
Driskill in 4 innings gave up 5 ER on 8 hits

Game 2
Carpenter in 8 innings gave up 2 ER on 8 hits
Driskill in 7 innings gave up 4 ER on 5 hits

Both teams have seen the opposing pitcher. Toronto bats are still hot.
Friday's games their bull pen just gave the game away.

I think Toronto will rebound and Carpenter will have another solid outing at home.

DRISKILL is 0-2 when starting against TORONTO with an ERA of 7.36 and a WHIP of 1.545.
His team's record is 0-2 in these starts.

CARPENTER is 7-3 when starting against BALTIMORE with an ERA of 4.52 and a WHIP of 1.313.
His team's record is 9-4 in these starts.

I think Toronto grinds this one out. Am actually going to watch this game at Skydome so will be rootin for the Jays of course.

# I like the Under also in this game. But stayin off for now.

Thanx for views in advance
Cheers !!!

FWIW I also have a lean on Tampa. Ritchie for the Sox has just been awful. While Wilson is no super star he's been solid and has given up less hits, runs, homeruns, earned runs etc... and struck out more hitters than Ritchie has all IN LESS INNINGS! On top of that the Devil Rays are hitting almost .300 against righthanders in their last 10 games. I lean that way but this Tampa team could make Ritchie look like Pedro today. LOL. Know what I mean? Still if I had to choose I'd go with you on Tampa.

Also preliminary leans on KC +130 (underrated pitcher going against guy on DL for last 2 months) and the Yanks -145. Thanks for listening.

Regarding the TB WhiteSox game ..

The HP UMP has been at home plate for 7 TB games.

ALL 7 have gone OVER.

His last 5 games have gone OVER.

good luck Mayur,

I just got in from Caribbana, when I passed by the skydome, I bumped into Delgado's gf, I did a little LAMABADA with her....;)

The blue jays should win now and keep the streak at 5-0, lets see if it works...

man that jays game was horrible.
I still think if delgado would have gotten home that one time instead of jogging home, and woodward stay at 2nd that would have swung the whole game around:D
But they are the bjays:mad:
