Alabama (-9) 2 units. admittedly, I was on the tide last year in this matchup. but let's remember - the week prior to that game, alabama came back to win at lsu with less than 1 minute to go. so they were primed for a letdown. and I really don't think they took the aggies seriously. this year? no way are they overlooking this game.
Washington (-10) 2 units. 2 months from now, we'll look back and wonder how the hell the huskies were only laying 10 in this game.
UCF (+5) 2 units. the first test for hackenberg today. I like the knights' chances to win this game.
FAU (+12) 3 units. very tough spot for the bulls. they got blown out by mcneese st at home to start the season, then they played their asses off at michigan st, only allowing one offensive score. oh, and next week they play miami. will they really be mentally ready to play FAU today?
Mississippi (+2.5) 2 units. this one's almost too easy, but texas is a mess right now. I think ole miss will be anxious to get some revenge after giving up 66 points to the longhorns last year.

Arizona st (-4) 2 units. first real game for either team. biggest concern for the sun devils is a look-ahead. next week starts a 3-game stretch against Stanford, usc, and notre dame. but I can't imagine they'll be looking past Wisconsin. and the expected 95? temps at kickoff will not help the badgers.
