Illinois (ML) 1 unit to win 2.5. wow, one of these teams is going to be bowl-eligible. I hate betting against a back-up qb making his first start, but I think it's worth taking a shot with Illinois. the last time northwestern was favored in a game was 9/6 and they lost that game.

over (67.5) 3 units. obviously I'm expecting Georgia to pull away in a high-scoring game. tech is already in the acc championship game and Georgia now knows they are out of the sec championship game. neither team may be 100% focused on their opponent today.
Alabama (-9) 1 unit. hard to lay this many points in the iron bowl (although laying 34 points 2 years ago turned out to be a good idea), but I gotta believe the tide are out to make sure this game doesn't come down to a field goal. this is a tough defense for auburn to get well against.

I'm counting on florida to commit to the ground game. then again, I thought bc would commit to the ground game and they did right up until the final drive that resulted in the missed field goal. they got stopped on one play and decided to throw the ball the next couple plays. amazingly, that did not work out. if the goddamn gators stick with running the ball, they can grind out a win here.

south carolina (ML) 1 unit to win 1.6. the ol' ball coach against a guy named dabo. well, south carolina has won and covered 5 straight against clemson. as bad as sc's defense has been this year, there's still no guarantee clemson will even score 6 points. this is a case of a very movable object (sc's defense giving up 5.4 yards/carry) versus a very resistable force (clemson only averaging 3.5 yards/carry). even if Watson plays, he'll be rusty. his best chance for success is probably on the ground, but hard to say how effective of a runner he'll be today.
