Detroit BLOWS big time. Guess who they're playing? TAMPA BAY, on the road!!
Had Toronto las nite. Think this kid Shields can pitch a good 5 + innings and let a good BP handle the rest. Angels hitting lefties well and the lefty in question here is none other than D. Davis, of prior Texas Ranger fame. He won't be in too long being his first game this season, and the Blue Jay BP is, well... the Blue Jay BP.
You know how some teams have a pitcher that's able to stop a lsing streak or skid, i.e.: Pedro Martinez, Big Unit, Schilling, etc. Well, I think Jeff Weaver is the exact opposite. He can stop a winning streak cold. Granted, good numbers at home, but I just get that feeling with hm on the mound if the teams been playing well.
