MTSU vs Samford
MTSU Lost the best play in the conference and two very Physical players. off their 19 win squad a year ago. They do have plenty of speed and can handle the rock. I thought they would be a better shooting team than they have been to this point. Samford has impressed by beating Auburn and playing fairly tough against ytown. Mtsu seems to be having a tough time adjusting to life without Yates. I think that helps us with the odds makers today. Mtsu is much deeper, I fully expect to see them shoot much better from behind the arc. They have two quality point guards. Guard play as a whole is an edge here for mtsu. Upfront they are better imo as well. I'm looking forward to watching juco transfer hunt play. He can slash from everything I'm reading. Think Kermit gets the boys rollin today.

Wrong Team Favored
St Peters 5 starters back off 17 win team. This team is a top 4 team in the metro this year which to this guy translates more favorably than Long Beaches top 4 in the Big west. The blowout loss to Bob Morris was surprising but it probably got us a few points in the line here. Peters, is deeper, has better guard play and is a headier team. I will take the 6 points

Mtsu off to a decent start. Not shooting well but killing the boards. Up 10 with 5 to go in the first half. Might pull the trigger on 1 more small play if I can get another line adjustment in my favor

Thanks for the Mid tenn win Clem....I took St pete's too but didn't see your post thank god because I probably would have bumped it up a few......Love Wake tonight against Elon any thoughts...Wake is young but they have some athletes and the big guy in the middle(walker) has like 4 blocks a game(top 50 recruit coming out of HS) and is getting playing time with Woods gone. .. I hope Elon is as bad as I think they are!!
