27-17 for the season. For some reason I'm stressing over this week's picks. Been through the team's web pages and none really say much about their team, guess its because they don't want the other teams to know about their current status. All well I'll give it a shot here are the ones that stick out to me.
@ Ohio St -7 vs Iowa
After seeing tonight's game vs Iowa St/Army, and see Iowa St struggle with lowly Army, I feel Ohio State should win by a TD. Feel that the lost to Texas this year and Iowa last year will be motivation enough esp. at home. Ohio's defense and special teams will be the factor in this game. Iowa's offense is too one dimensional. some facts: Iowa has not won in Ohio since 1991. Ohio State is 8-1 vs Iowa in last meetings. that one being last year.
Penn St -7 @ Northwestern
Got to see Penn State play, pretty impressed by both their offense and defense. They should be ranked at the end of the year. Northwestern's D got torn up by Arizona State last game, look for Penn State's offense to do the same.
Western Michigan -3.5 @ Temple
Last week Western Michigan beat the #1 ranked Div-II team in the nation. Temple belongs in Div-II, enough said.
@ Tulsa -1 vs Memphis
Tulsa played better competiton, faced a better running back than D'Angelo in Peterson. They had enough practice facing the run, should be able to stop the talented running back. Tulsa has a gifted player on offense in TE Mills.
@ UTEP -3 vs New Mexico
UTEP's offense is potent. Don't think New Mexico will be able to keep up. Ebell just needs to hold on to the ball instead of trying for the big play(its good to fight for yards, just make sure you hold on the the damn ball!)
Arizona State -5.5 @ Oregon State
Oregon's secondary is really young and is in the rebuilding year. Arizona State's offense should score at ease.
Hawaii +1 @ Idaho
Hawaii will be better on the road this year than people think. Team's defense has gotten a lot better over the bye week. Offense will be clicking as usual. Idaho will turn over the ball and that will be the difference maker. Hawaii QB Brennan has only thrown one pick so far, and that was his very first pass of the season.
@ Oregon +21.5 vs USC
USC has too much injuries on defense, with it being weak to start, don't think they will be able to stop Oregon. Don't think Oregon will be able to stop USC either. Look for Oregon to at least keep it within 2 TD's.
Half Plays
@ Minnesota -3.5 vs Purdue
It should be Minnesota's year to beat Purdue. They could have done it last year, but they didn't play.
@ Wisconsin +3 vs Michigan
Wisconsin's O-line should tire Michigan's D-line eventually throughout the game. Michigan is over rated. Home field should help in this one.
@ Wake Forest -3 vs Maryland
I'm honestly just tailing some good cappers on this one. Hope they are right.
If I had to say best game to me looks to be UTEP. Any thoughts and opinions are more than welcome. Good luck everyone, and hope we break the house!!
