Have gone 6-0 last two Sat. in the daytime games. Hope to keep it going.

OLE MISS +5(Best Bet)
OHIO STATE -1
MISSISSIPPI STATE -9.5

REBELS-Love the Rebels in this spot catching points at home where they play hard for 40 minutes. Gators second game in a row away from home and I think there will be a little let down after thier big win at UGA last Tuesday. Ole Miss has played very well at home this season easily beating the average teams in the SEC. Now the best team in the SEC comes to Oxford so look for the Rebels to be sky high and play their best game of the season. Take the Rebels +5 or the money line as I see them winning this game SU.

BUCKEYES-Ohio State should be well rested after a week off. They need a road win in conference to help their seeding in the "Big Dance". The Hawkeyes have to be the underachivers of the year in the Big Ten losing last Saturday at home to Minn. Ohio State is a much better team than Minn. so take the Buckeyes as they win this game by 5 or more.

BULLDOGS-Hate to go against my Tigers but can not see them staying with Miss. St. in this one. Auburn has very little offense and will start 4 freshmen today against a team that beat them by 9pts. @ Auburn less than a mouth ago. State has an outside shoot at making the field of 64 and I think they will play well. Bulldogs strong at home and should win this game by double digits.

As Always, GLTA:)

HIGH POWERED HOME DOG
another breed
Last Saturday, we offered one of our High Powered Home Dogs with Mississippi State over Alabama. The Starkville Dogs took a singleton from the Tide and rolled to a 76-62 win. Here is another system based on that same line of thinking. To review, this is how the Mississippi State angle was presented.

One team is hot, the other is not. "Hot" is overpriced. "Not" takes the money. That's a scenario repeated time and again in every betting sport causing punters all over the world to scratch their heads and wonder, "How did I lose that game". When you have a database the size of mine and you have nothing to do in the summertime, you find that there are certain keys that will allow you to recognize the situation before it happens.

I have made a living using reversal theories over the past 25 years and I have spent many paragraphs describing them to you. This one follows these logical paths. A good team off back to back losses will most likely win its next game, and a winning underdog off a SU loss as a favorite has a better than .500 chance of succeeding. That's as basic as it gets but I have put a few bells and whistles on those theories to make them worth your time.

To start this study, I looked at all winning home underdogs who were off a loss and found that they were just a notch over .500 against the spread. I also determined that the teams who were between .500 and .700 were about fifty-fifty against the number. Therefore, I made my base angle read: Play on any home underdog who had a WL% of at least .700 and was off a loss. That started the system at 84-66 for 56% winners. If our home dog not only lost his last game but also failed to cover the spread in that loss, we pick up two percentage points and move to 65-47, or 58%. In the Mississippi State angle we used revenge as our next parameter and eventually came up with a 24-8 system. This time we ignore the revenge factor and insist that the road favorite be off back to back wins. That trims our angle to 44-26 for 62.8% winners and, if we demand three points or more from the linemaker, we can move the system to 29-14, a solid 67.4% on the plus side. Never satisfied with less than 70%, we added one more condition and cemented this new college angle:
PLAY ON any .700 or better college home underdog of +3 or more who is off a SU and ATS loss and is playing an opponent off back to back wins, if our team has won more than 70% of its home games in its last 40 tries.
That system is 17-5 for 77.3%.
