**3-2 yesterday for a + 1.0 unit profit. I'll take it. Lost my attempt at picking a total and also lost on my home team Devil Rays, remind me to never play them again. Otherwise things went well. Totals are 106-84/+13.76 units.
**(I am assuming my OVER on the LA game loses and have counted it that way, 2-2 in the 12th right now)
Atlanta -135 over Philly
I'll just keep riding this horse until the chalk gets to be too high. I'll give the edge to Marquis over Adams in the circle and a big edge to the Braves for finding ways to win of late. Adams is 3-5 lifetime against the Braves with a 5.89 ERA. This year in 2 games against them he has pitched 12.1 innings and has given up 15 hits and 10 earned runs. His ERA is well over 7 when playing Atlanta this year. Marquis has struggled some when he gets the ball up but in his last 3 appearances his ERA has only been 3.12, numbers that should be plenty good enough to keep the Braves in the win column. This Braves team is for real in case you haven't figure that out yet. The only thing of interest will be watching to see how Bobby Cox blows it in the play-offs again this year. Play on......
Minnesota -140 over Detroit / 2units
I won't even list all the 23 reasons I like this game at -140. If you like money play the Twins today. LOL. If you get a chance today watch Santana pitch for the Twins. He's got nasty stuff. So far in 45 innings he has struck out 55 guys and allowed only 1 homerun against him. For comparison purposes his opponent Bernero has pitched just under 60 innings and struck out 37 hitters but allowed 16 homeruns already! Two units on this one boys.
Going to lay off now but the Reds, A's and the Pirates are real close to being plays today as well. Good luck gentleman and let's get the man!
