(Jan 8) TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Nashville Predators look to remain unbeaten at the Air Canada Centre on Tuesday when they wrap up a four-game road trip against the Eastern Conference-leading Toronto Maple Leafs.
Nashville has outscored Toronto, 9-5, in going 2-0-1 in three visits here. The Maple Leafs will make their first appearance at Gaylord Entertainment Center on January 17.
The Predators fell to 1-2 on their journey with a 4-3 setback to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday. Greg Johnson scored twice, Cliff Ronning collected two assists and Kimmo Timonen and Denis Arkhipov each had a goal in a losing effort.
While Nashville has posted victories over Detroit and New Jersey in the last two weeks, it has been beaten by Tampa Bay, Minnesota and Columbus.
"We need to approach every game the same way. We need to go out with the same intensity," goaltender Mike Dunham said.
Dunham will start in goal for the Predators while backup Corey Schwab will get the call for the Leafs.
The Predators have struggled on the road, wining just five tines. They will also be without defenceman Andy Delmore who will miss tonight's game with a hamstring injury.
Alexander Mogilny scored a pair of goals Monday but Toronto had its three-game winning streak stopped with a 4-3 setback to the Ottawa Senators. Mogilny has four goals and an assist during a three-game points streak.
The Maple Leafs have won five of their last six home games and lead the Eastern Conference and Northeast Division by one point over the Boston Bruins.
