I didn't vote, because i think polls are worthless. but with that said i think we've always gotten along and i hate to see anyone go. i don't know what half this board will do if you leave because its one less person for them to have cyber war with. i hope you stay, because the more posters the better. most people should choose to ignore those they hate, but i guess thats not reality.

scott, if you look at it from a pinnacle point of view. imagine if they had that prop bet. it would read:

they would grade your bet as a loss. you would be able to explain it to them until you are blue in the face and they wouldn't care. since we're essentially talking about a 15 bet it seems silly.

i see your argument that the guys position did change, but a book wouldn't care and wouldn't make any exceptions.

personally, i think you lost, but i also hope you don't leave. the more posters the better and we can all make our own choices.

Have to agree with the majority here. Scott I don't know you and actually have been entertained by many of your obsessive posts. You do know USC inside and out, frankly I could care less how much you lost, won, or hedged on the National Champ. This is more about the principal of the thing. You can't change a bet, or "CALL IT OFF" just because something didn't go your way. I have no idea how old you are, but I would think you are an adult. If the bet loses............pay up. Very simple. If you choose to continue to call a "foul" because a website doesn't see things your way, I will have no choice but to vote to ban. Something I don't want to do, because I would think your a bigger person than this, but I could be wrong. Please understand that your changing the bet and failure to acknowledge this, on the heels of the WORM, makes you look bad. I'm just and old gambler that if I lose a Pepsi or $10,000 I pay up. The bet guidelines were set up and you made the wager. Please don't humiliate yourself anymore and just agree to pay the wager...it it loses. Your argument should be with "Scout" website, not with the Judge. I will vote to ban you if you continue to ignore the majority of posters here and "call off your wager". However, the bet was between you and Judge, and if he feels you are correct by canceling the wager then I'm ok with it! Like I have said.....Do the right thing!!!

you just dont seem to get it,and you never will. i think you lost all credibility when it comes to friendly wagers with good people. as much as its great to get sound advice on betting, its also fun to make bets with fellow madjackers. your inability to recognize this and your constant denial is pathetic. i dont see anyone making a bet with you and having any confidence that you will pay. for all the money you supposedly bet, its a joke that you wont follow through.

Thats the problem Scott. You are the only one that thinks your right. That right there should tell you something. Is your ego that ****ing big? You are obviously wrong in this situation. I don't dislike you or anyone on this forum. I pretty much get along with everyone. Some people on here are a little more screwed up than others (Manson, S-Love, etc....). Hell, you actually provide some pretty good insight when discussing college football. It does get pretty annoying to have someone be obsessed with a football program as you are with USC. I understand your point about the bet, but a bet is a bet. You lost! Pay the Judge and be done with it.

Jesus Christ, these are good tough choices! I went with losing a hat is worse than losing 25 grand. ....probably because I've had that sense of victory after a big money losing weekend, as long as my fantasy team beat the brains out of an arch rival from a different cubicle. Pride has monetary value.

Perhaps deferring to Kosar is the correct choice. He knows how to handle forum miscreants.
