EARLY PLAYS

SATURDAY

KANSAS CITY +7.0 @ INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

COLTS opened with 9 straight wins and here they sit as Wild Card entrants, behind Manning 31/9, Harrison Wayne & Co. We're all aware that their Rusing "D" is ranked the last in the NFL, allowing 185 yards 5 times, which includes that 375-yard effort vs. the Jags.

Enter my beloved CHIEFS & Larry Johnson & his 1789 RYS & NFL record 416 carries. :yup

Indy on a current 2-6 spread slide.

A classic matchup of strength & weakness

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS +7.0 +100

SUNDAY

NEW YORK GIANTS @ PHILDELPHIA EAGLES -6.5

Just like the JETS/PATS, these 2 posted road wins in their first matches. Garcia enters at 12/2 while Manning comes in at 24/19.

Five straight wins for the Eagles, who have gotten solid play from Westbrook.

Obviously stopping Tiki may worry some Eagles backers, but what makes this the strongest play of the day is that their "D" or lack-there-of, is allowing 29.3 ppg in 7 of their last 8 contests.

PHILDELPHIA EAGLES -6.5 -115

I'm with ya on both. One thing with KC that no one is talking about is they have Ty Law. Law knows the Colts passing game well and I expect him to step up and lead the KC secondary in a strong showing. I like KC to cover but they could pull the upset here and move on to San Diego. GL this weekend Senor!

Id love to see KC beat up on the Colts, but all I keep hearing is about the awful Colts rush defense vrs the unstoppable Larry Johnson. Everytime I turn on ESPN they are trying to sell me the KC Chiefs and hardly a whisper about the Colts since they havnt played well down the stretch. Im not in love with the Chiefs as much as they are trying to sell it to the public. Its Indy or nothing for me.

I'm thinking of playing a strange hedge of the KC money line and Colts -7. For whatever reason I just think that the Colts will either blow them out or KC will win. I don't see this thing coming down to a field goal.

I definitely like Dallas, but the line is down to 2 on sportsbook, so I will probably buy a point. SEA has not impressed me this year, with both teams limping in.
