Mariucci has covered only about 1/3 of his pre-season games in his 4 years at San Fran going 6-12 ATS and doesn't do much better straight up.
This season he is 1-1 SU but 2-0 ATS. On the heels of an intra-state rival game vs. California's only real chance this year (Raiders), I'll look for Mariucci to return to status quo this week after a nice emotional OT win.
It just so happens San Fran lines up against a normally solid pre-season coach in Mike Holmgren. In his opener his defense gave it up while in his second game his offense let him down.
It's now week 3 of pre-season and Mikey doesn't have a win under his belt. Off two losses, I'll look for Holmgren to have his pre-season vest well-groomed today. I'll recommend a buy up to three.
