Searching....DISABLED!

Why is the search function disabled. I clicked on new posts and it said searching was disabled. Now I can't even find the "New Posts" link......WTF? :shrug:

This has been answered in several places, sorry you didn't see it.

All posts and threads have to be re-indexed, a server intensive project that could possibly take a week to complete. Tonight, after the games, search will be turned completely off, the site will be backed up, and the automated process will be started. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but with my luck it will time out and cough up a shitpile of errors but let's hope not. If everything goes well, the search features will be restored to normal if not better. Let's hope for the best, there's over 3 million posts to be sorted. :0008
