It looks like Florida, Tennessee and Georgia are all going to finish 6-2 in the SEC and all 3 are 1-1 agaisnt each other. Anybody know who would win the tiebreaker to go to the SEC champ. game?
Thanks.

thought i heard on sports radio that if that ever did happen (this year), then the AD's of schools or someone from each school voted for who went....

Georgia will win the tie breaker if everything stays the same as it is right now. Florida is not within 5 spots of the top team (Tennessee), so they are eliminated in that round. The next round is head to head where Georgia wins out over the Vols. They explained this during the Georgia-Auburn game this weekend. If those guys know what they are talking about (which I doubt), we are looking pretty good.

The BCS polls will change in the coming weeks. IF Florida beats FSU, they will obviously be launched up the BCS rankings, so they will be within 5 of Tennessee. Georgia plays Kentucky and Georgia Tech, so their strength of schedule probably won't move in either direction. Tennesse plays Vanderbilt and Kentucky, so their SOS will probably slip some.

In the end, I think all three team will be within 5 spots. At that point, it will go back to a vote by the ADs if I understand everything correctly. My feeling is that Florida would probably win that vote because they are the hottest of the three teams.

Dawgball,

I am a Tennessee fan, and I will admit that I think UGA deserves to go to the SEC Champ. game. FLA has 3 losses and I think that should come into consid. on the vote if it comes down to that. Should be an interesting finish.

dawgball - There will be no vote if all three teams are within 5 points of each in the BCS Standings. The top team out of those three in the BCS Standings will automatically get it. That is what the AD's have already stated. The AD's don't want to vote on this so this is their way out out of voting. I was speaking with a few national media about this at the Tech/Texas game on Saturday in the press box when we were watching the end of the LSU game.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess having the team that is the highest in the BCS standings win the tiebreaker is the fairest way to do it. Although it doesnt really matter who wins the East because Ole Miss is going to beat whoever it is anyway;)
