I usually consider the SEC one of the top 3 (sometimes the top) conference in college football. But most years, the SEC disappoints me in bowl games.

This year I think the SEC is pretty weak. So how will this play out in bowl season? Going on my 'contrary results to feelings' thoery, the SEC should have a strong showing in bowl games that they are a part of.

Just wanted to state this before bowl season starts. I understand that this post does not give any insight.

Thank you for the microphone. Next.

I concur. guess only time will tell, but I expect a strong showing from the SEC also during the Bowl Season....

Looks like it's now cold enough for you to break out that boggin'!!! Happy Holidays, old friend. Give my best to your better half.... :)

No insight here either. Thank you for the microphone. Next. :)

The SEC is obviously down big time again this year. They will be lucky to go 1-5. Every team in the SEC plays a soft schedule and the only reason they get ranked so high is obvious bias from the AP, coaches, and delusional fans everywhere. Las Vegas is setting a huge trap for all betters by making these SEC clowns favorites. Take the ml dogs in all SEC games and wait for your check!!!

As always, no insight here. Thanks for the mic. next.

georgia will win and cover against a good but very young wvu team, and line will close at around -10 around game time it has gone down from opening line and gone back and forth .5 points almost every day at east 3 times a day would take dogs now over wvu. will not be posting this game again call it a christmas from me to you. because it will be a very big play else where so only time i will talk about it here and would not wait.

Good luck hope you listen and win lets hope it wins anyway I have dogs winning by 12-14 range.

wvu will only get stronger the next 3 years this is a team who was picked by most to win maybe 6 games and were not even ranked in top 35 not 25 but 35 at start of the year. But ga in their back yeard should handle them i will be there and so will 20,000 + wvu fans to help out with dome noise but just thing dogs are more muture, but wvu will be around strong next 3 years not that they ever go more then a few years here and there not in top 20 but next 3 years they will be special and did a great job this year.

They lose 8 guys from their 42 2 deep and they go really 2.5 deep so lose 8 out of 49 guys who have played a good amount of time.

Good luck

Eric

I agree with fletcher that georgia will beat WVU, who hasnt played anybody that tough and come out ahead. But I also agree that SEC has been overated all year long and I don't know how they will fair against tougher opponents.

My bet is to go with the most UNDERATED conference of the year, the Big-10. Finally at the end of the year 3,4,20,21, and 24 are all in big ten, and that doesnt even include Minnesota who no one wants to play and an equally tough Northwestern.

Shoulda seen this one coming after Auburn's debacle today. But the way LSU rocked Miami the other night made it hard to doubt any SEC team. completely freakin unpredictable!

Thanks to Auburn, Georgia, and So Carolina - there was a profit to be had by betting the dogs on money line.

Welp, I guess this theory (along with every other thought I have had pertaining to gambling) has been shot all to pieces!

I think this year is a good example that maybe conference strength just cannot be measured in bowl games. Auburn and Georgia were strong teams but something went wrong. Were they to play the games tomorrow I would suspect a different ending. The fact that Georgia and Auburn got beat doesn't make the SEC any less strong, nor do I believe that any of the upsets justified making conferences like the Big 12 (unless Texas rolls) any better. It is fun to argue about the strengths of various conferences, but all in all, it is probably just that this year - food for argument. This has been a crazy bowl season and there are still two games left. As I type, FSU is playing tit for tat with PSU. Who knows what will happen tomorrow.

Make that 14-7 FSU !!!!
