So Cal
So I gotta say THESE SEC bowl teams look like they should win by a country mile.
All of them minus Texas A&M. I've got W.Va winning that game big.
I'm not a SEC guy by any means but as I cap these games all my numbers show up favoring these teams pretty nicely. :popcorn2

Where's our sec guys to give us some guidance before I throw down.:0074
I've already played the Hogs-6

I would like to know your #'s on Ga and L'ville....I believe Ga is going to lack motivation and the L'ville defense is going to be tough...I lean L'ville here for that only reason..

I use numbers , strength of schedule, talent level/Recruiting, How many Seniors on the team & overall interest in playing in that particular Bowl game.

All but the interest part favor Georgia . I got them as a 12pt fav:shrug:.
I wasn't really impressed with Louisville this year. They had an easy schedule
And won the games they should had. Strong recruited some really nice players on the defense but the played a lot of lousy offenses so I think it made them look better then they are. This Georgia rush offense would be the best they've played so far they avg.6.1 per carry. Not too shabby.

Nice info...To me the key for Ga will be motivation because Petrino loves the spotlight of the bowl games...His team will be ready if they are not TOTALLY out classed...Think will be a tight game ...And absolutely Ga is a ground machine if they get rolling...

I'm concerned about Georgia's motivation also. But I also think they were, and probably still could beat anybody in the country also; the loss to the Gators may have took some wind out of their sails.

Louisville is always dangerous but they are just not quite what they were for the last few years under Strong. I think they lost, what, maybe 4 defensive guys to the NFL last year, and there's no Teddy Bridgewater to create miracles, and I'm sure a freshman QB will be starting. I know it was a rivalry game but Kentucky gave Louisvile all they wanted but lost to Georgia before that like 60 something to 20 something maybe; didn't even take time to look up. If Georgia comes to play they should cover.

Another thing, Louisville struggles to run the ball (and Dyer has been suspended for the game), and Georgia thrives on the run although the Cards rushing defense is good. Then if your a Louisville backer your going to have a freshman QB going against a 5th year senior. All Georgia has to do is keep WR Parker in front of them and Louisville should be pretty limited on offense.

I will just add this... I know for a fact MSU and OM are pumped for their games and so are their fans and will bring big crowds. MSU has seen the GT offense recently. ('09) I think both teams have big games.

If Ole Miss beats my Horned Frogs "by a country mile" or "pretty nicely" as you say, I'll never say another bad thing about the SEC again. I'll even put up an Ole Miss avatar until the next football season.

Now granted, I'm a little worried now about the DLine putting pressure on Bo since one of the sack leaders on the team is out for the game. However, I think the secondary has been amazing this year with interceptions and pass breakups. We'll see what happens. I think Boykin begins his case for a Heisman run next year.

Here's what I'm thinking about TCU

TCU had a nice season. No doubt about it. Situational handicapping, To me this has the let down factor for TCU big time. They went from in the playoffs to out of the playoffs without really good reason.
This Bowl game is a very small consolation prize if any at all . It's hard to get pumped for this game when these kids are thinking they should be playing for a shot at the national championship.

I have not bet any SEC games besides Arkansas.
I'm was just looking for opinions on guys that follow the SEC closely because I dont.

That's my worry about TCU also; but they have been a really good team this year. But if Ole Miss wasn't missing that real good receiver they have I would probably on Ole Miss; should be a great game.

I think it comes down to our D and if we can keep the TCU offense in check and if Bo shows up it should be a GREAT game! Our D is fast and talented as heck. Yes missing Treadwell will hurt but we have some others that can and have stepped up big time! I think Bo will have a good game considering this is his last game wearing the Rebel uni and he will want to go out on a very good note. The Rebs took care of business in their past Bowl games against very good Big 12 teams in the Cotten Bowl. (Okie St twice) I'm not to worried about our D because that is our strong point and it is a VERY strong point indeed! With all that being said it should be a GREAT game and it would be a great win for the Rebs going into the recruiting season! Oh and we should have a good showing of fans that will be pumped!!

HOTTY TODDY!!
Go Rebs!!:toast:

If TCU still had knuckleheads on the team, I'd agree that they won't be up for the game like the Fiesta Bowl against Boise St. Half the team was hung over. But I think you're going to see more of a Rose Bowl like focus this game. Coach Patterson has this game built up like it is a playoff game.

I'd be really surprised if the team isn't focused. But I've been wrong before.
