See Why Obama Is A 1/4 Of The Man Bush Is?
I fear this generation of Americans will...

You can argue about the Iraq War. You can argue about the Mission Accomplished sign and all of the mistakes of the Bush administration. However, you cannot argue the fact that Bush had principles and stood up to evil. President Bush saw the world in black and white terms, such as, you are either with us or against us. In Iraq, Bush saw a dictator who gassed and killed over two-hundred thousand of his own people with weapons of mass destruction and was threatening the world, so he did something about it. A few months after taking office, over three thousand people were killed in the worst terrorist attack ever on U.S. soil; Bush did something about it. When the AIDS virus was ravaging Africa, Bush acted and changed the lives of millions of Africans. Our current administration has seen evil sprout its wings all over the world in an explosion of unrest that will have terrible consequences.
We are standing up to none of it.
Do you remember the phrase, Axis of Evil? This was the Bush administration?s characterization of the loose alliance between Iraq, Iran, and North Korea. Today, North Korea is continuing to provide Iran nuclear technology and has threatened the United States ? just last week ? with nuclear attack. Iran is stalling for time as they rush to develop a bomb so they can threaten Israel and the entire Middle East. Iraq, in front of our eyes, has turned into a failed state and much of its territory now is part of a new Islamic terrorist state, the first of its kind in the world, that seriously threatens U.S. national security. The response from the Obama administration has been? crickets.
I fear this generation of Americans will have to relearn the very painful lessons of history. Has our decades of relative world peace since the end of World War II made us soft? Have we forgotten what happens when you do not stand up to an evil that threatens the world? The names of men who committed mass murder on a gargantuan scale are still on the lips of people who lived through the terror; Hitler, Stalin, Mao. Why is this generation of Democrats so unwilling to face evil when it rears its ugly head in the world? Is it because they are ignorant of history? Naive? Or worse?
Is there an agenda lurking within the leadership of the Left in this country? I find it impossible to believe they are ignorant to the threat the new faces of evil pose for our country?s security. Freedom isn?t free and there is a price to pay over and over again to live the American way. Perhaps this will be the legacy of the Obama administration. He will be the president that history credits with blunting the capability and the will of the American people to fulfill their destiny as the protector of the flame of liberty.
You could forgive President Bush for thinking to himself, Do you miss me yet?
