Man.....I oughta do like #cruncher and just pass tonight BUT.......
I'm going to throw out one after a big night last night.....as caution is my "watch-word" with a smaller (likely tighter lined) kinda card tonight.
Play'n---->the u 96 1H & u 191'in tonight's Celtic/Sonic game cause:
-These team's average 96 & 97 points offensively....but...tonight they are "tired" and "beat up" before the tip.
-Also, these teams average allowing only 96 & 94 points against their defenses (right at 190 and just under our line of 191').
-McMillan has a short bench tonight with Baker, Williams and Mason out. (Mason is really listed as "doubtful" but looks like he's a no go.)
-With a "short" bench McMillan should pace his team into more of a half-court (slower paced) kinda game.
-Nor....do I really see O'Brien wanting an up and down the floor type of game coming in on a 4th game in 5 days.
-ESPECIALLY......after last night's physically demanding 2H come-back against Portland which the Celtics pulled out 107-104.
-That Celt/Blazer game was heading under after 3 quarters...but...then we had a blitzkrieg like 4th period which saw 75 "freak'n" points scored in it!!!!
(HT team's o 96 2H wasn't look'n good after a pathetic 40 point 3rd......need'n a 56 point 4th.....we got 75!!!!!)
-That's still unbelievable to me......and ought to affect the Celtics' energy level in a negative way tonight.
So....we have one "tired" team and one "beat" up team that will try to pace themselves early. I can't see either coach hope'n for a "scrabble" pace with their situations tonight. GLTA
