Sorry guys, I know I have had alot of e-mails from many of you but work and family stuff have had me run off my feet. Apologies for not posting. Back at it today!
This has been a weird series. It could have gone either way the last 2 games but certain players have turned in great performances for both teams. This has been great hockey to watch. Not being biased at all but this has been the best series to watch. Too many of the other series that are going on have been way too defensive for me. 13 shots on goal is not what you call quality hockey because therefore there are not many scoring chances which means less excitement.
Sens had the day off yesterday and the Flyers are changing their pre-game routines in hopes of getting the extra edge mentally. One thing I have noticed is the Sens slow start in each game thus far. Their first period play has been down right awful. If they put together 60 min. tonight they win this one going away. If not they will head home tied 2-2. Of course the first goal is huge tonight and I really believe the Sens will come out the same way they did against NYI in Game 4 after winning in OT, simple and energy filled style of game. Having a hard time pulling the trigger on either team. If Flyers ever manage to figure out the PP they would be set but then again the Sens are taking away the shooting lanes and forcing them to the outside so the other way to look at it is the Sens PK has been super. More later.
mugs and his buddy are coming down for Game 5 Saturday! I already got a press box tour planned for them at the rink, and on gameday to boot! Hooked them up with tickets and the city is on alert as they ready to raid the town!! Should be great to meet a couple of fellow madjackers!! If anyone else plans a trip to Ott. just drop me an e-mail.
