Sens make a trade for a center

Sens traded winger Andre Roy and a 6th round pick to Tampa Bay for center Yuha Ylonen. Sens were thin a center with Bonk and Todd White as there only centers. Fisher is out until the playoffs or longer with a separated shoulder. Not sure if this is a good move, especially with Roy being a physical presence as well as a heart and soul guy. He was very liked by his teammates.

I like that Roy guy
Was making his presence felt in the corners and hitting hard no matter who and not an overall bad hockey player.

wigs, I hope not. Would have loved to see Andrew Cassels in a Sens uniform, he played 4 years of junior hockey here with the 67's. Cassels sees the ice so well, great playmaker.
I feel that the Sens got softer by losing Roy. Sens need the grinders for the playoffs and he is one of those. I guess they feel that Chris Neil and Chara fill that role, but the way I see it you can never have enough toughness come playoff time and that is what it is all about.
The price will go up for centers as the deadline approaches so I guess Marshall Dopey Johnston figured he got Ylonen cheaper than if he had of waited right until the deadline.

I wanna see another Battle of Ontario in the playoffs. Then we can watch the Sens choke on some leaves again. :p

I hope the Habs can catch Rangers for last spot. Montreal needs a playoff series to revive hockey in that city. Give Lindros an early offseason so he can head up to the cottage and get in some barfights.
