Well the season is vastly winding down in MLB - my goal of +100 units is still within reach and no pressure to reach that goal. Picking spots and understanding the recent trends really helps when capping games.

GLE!

TUES, SEPT 3

OVER 8 1/2 WASH/PHILS BOTH GONZALEZ/MARTIN (5 units) GIO 7-0 over last 7 rd starts as a fav, he's 1-3 with 4.98 era L8 starts, Martin has had a hard time giving up the gopher ball

BALTIMORE -1.5 +140 BOTH TILLMAN/JIMENEZ (2 units) O's still in WC chase, along with Cleveburgh, Tillman for me is more consistent compared to Jiminez who's gotten no run support at home and he's had quality starts his last 7, but not facing O's type hitters with Roberts starting to swing the ball well for O's like in years before his injuries caught up to him.

BALTIMORE -120 (5 units)

OVER 8 ST L/CINCY BOTH WACHA/BAILEY (2 units) Wacha Wacha is an up and coming young righty for the ST LOUIE BIRDS, but he and Bails will both be squeezed tonight on TV game by HPU, Bailey pitched a gem vs STL last time out, this time STL bats get to him early, Yaddy a ? mark along with Beltran today, bench bats will need to help Birds to stop the free fall they are going thru.

NY METS +205 MEDLEN ONLY (2 units) Love this line move from -205 to -260 for Braves, and why not? They crushed the Mets during a day game yesterday and they knew they had to score at least 6 runs to win with Maholm on the hill. Torres is a good young pitcher who's done his best out of the pen, but he's made an occassional start and done alright, Mets get to Medlen's finess tonight.

DETROIT -105 SCHERZER ONLY (5 units) Max goes for #20 for the 2nd time, Miggy probably won't play, that's ok, Motor City Kitties are 9-2 without him this year. Lester at home not faring too well vs Tiggers. Lesters L8 starts he is 4-2, 2.56 ERA, but is just 2-4 with 5.26 vs Detroit in those 6 starts.

MILWAUKEE +105 COLE ONLY (3 units) Love this spot for Brew Crew, Cole not the same he was his first 5 starts in his L 7 starts, just 2-4 with 3.71 ERA, Yovani is 15-3 vs Bucs with 2.41 ERA lifetime, and he's hot of late 3-1, 2.91 L6 starts.

ARIZONA -1.5 +145 MILEY ONLY (2 units)

ARIZONA -145 (5 units) Miley vs club that's almost anemic vs LHP plus Snakes off a home loss yesterday during afternoon game, now take on Redmond & Jays, Redmond 1-1, 5 ND in L7 starts with 4.29 era, he's 0-2 with over 7 era last 4 rd starts.

OVER 7 1/2 TEXAS/OAKLAND (2 units) Fat burger boy Colon vs Perez in this tilt for battle of the top in ALW, Texas got a uncharacteristic meltdown performance from Holland yesterday and still had a shot to get to Balfour late in the game but couldn't get across any runners in scoring position. Something they usually do with Perez on the hill. Colon 0-2, 6.11 ERA L4 starts which was interrupted with back and leg probs vs Cincy a couple wks ago, he's 2-2, 3.86 L6 starts overall and 20-11 lifetime vs Rangers with 3.65 era.

ANAHEIM +120 (2 units) Moore is back, Moore is back, yay, Moore is back. To fucking bad Rays, you can't score any runs anyways and are 0-5 L5 road games and scoring 1.78 runs your last 8 games, Vargas doing well since coming off DL is 2-1, 3.13 L4 starts and 3-4 with 2.78 era vs Rays, he's 2-0 at home vs Rays. Moore is 3-0 vs Angels, 1-0 on the road with one no decision.

TEXAS +120 PEREZ & COLON (5 units)

SAN DIEGO +130 BUM ONLY (1 unit) Bum usually gets wins off a team loss the day before, but Padres also hot at home, 5-1 L6 games, Bum is 0-3 L5 starts, 1-4, 2.63 ERA L8 starts, Erlin is a good lil lefty who should keep Giant hitters quiet in this tilt.
