denver +152 to beat the clips.

not going to get into it a ton, but i think the emergence of a more consistent carmelo, along with the addition of a versitile defender in patterson will outweigh the advantage brand will have in the post. played it big. gl.

I also think even though Denver lost the season series, they have a mental advantage knowing the word was out that "the Clips wanted Denver in the first round and not Dallas".......now Denver is saying be careful what you wish for...........

agreed. marcus camby will be a factor in this series as well. he's the leader on that team, and he certainly has taken it personally that everyone seems to want to play them.

couldn't agree more, I made the same play at +149.

just need boykins to come back and not miss a beat. he has been practicing for awhile now so hopefully he won't be that rusty cause he is crucial. lot of value in them as underdogs because if the nuggets can split in l.a they will have a huge advantage going back to denver for game 3 and 4. this is not a homer play but I will be rooting hard for it to cash for more than just financial reasons.

Watching the Clippers this year has opened my eyes to the new team in CA. Elton Brand has taken on a whole new persona as has a healthy C. Maggette. And don't forget how much difference a play off veteran can make AKA Sam, the alien, Cassell. This team is cocky as they did call out Denver as they should have. New attitude will have the Clips advancing here. Bulletin board material only goes so far in the NBA, much more affective in the NFL where you can come out and punch a guy in the mouth an a 1 game series and have it count. GL to all but I am on the other side here.

new attitude, maybe. i still don't buy maggette as a consistent scorer against playoff competition. brand will get his, though denver will be throwing bodies at him left and right. elton will not have 1 or even 2 guys to bang on all game. nugs will come with 4-5 guys throughout the course of the game. denver is at least even at the point with miller, eisley, and boykins if he is healthy. carmelo will get to the line 10 times a game, you can count on that.

i think both teams will have a hard time on the road in this series. that said, i believe denver has a great shot tomorrow. guess we'll see.
