Went 2-0 for first round series. Picked 3 of the 4 right, sided homerly with dodgers, but went 2-0 on the ones i actually wagered on. Big shocker, all the favorites won. Like they did almost every game.
A couple of things of clarification from some of the posts I've been reading. Not saying anyone is wrong in any way...BUT there has been way to much reading into what the yankees/boston series price opened up as. All I hear is that boston is favored and they must be so for a reason....Why would boston open up favored if they don't think they are going to win, etc. etc. Don't worry about what the books do. Boston opened as a favorite because they knew they would get hammered with Boston money. Just because they opened up as a road team in series as the favorite doesnt mean pinnacle or any other book thinks they are going to win. They aren't showing an opinion. They are just covering their asses when they knew that at least to start their would be disproportionate money on the red sox.
Second, I saw a ton of posts saying favorite and over have come in every time, books are getting killed, etc.etc. Books aren't losing. It is all the people chasing the due theory. Ex. the last six games have gone over, its due for an under. Trends are fine, but each game is statistically independent of itself. Streaks happen. Instead of fighting the streaks, ride em.
I'm not a tout. I don't know any better than the next guy, I just noticed a ton of people playing games for all the wrong reasons. To me thats silly.
Nobody really cares anyway, but heres what I like next round without getting into detail. Will bet both of them. Yankees series going a MINIMUM of 6 and most likely 7 so tons of hedging opportunities if thats your thing depending on how series (injuries, pitchers) shakes out.
Cardinals - 200
Best line-up I've ever seen in my lifetime in the National League. Scary Scary Scary. Clemens and Oswalt solid, but they cannot win shootouts and their rotation is messed up.

Same story different year. All I hear is this is our year. This is our year. Its like an echo from 365 days ago. Sheffield and Arod are a wash with Manny and Ortiz. Starting pitching small edge to Red Sox, bullpen edge to Yanks. All the yanks been here done that. What have the Red Sox ever won. Jeter over Damon. I'm thinking too much.
