Server Issue? Need Computer Help

My computer started losing its internet connection regularly the other day and it says it is a server issue. It comes back for a little bit, then the same crap happens. I haven't done anything differently except download the FireFox upgrade, but that was a few days before the problem. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Same problem. Internet Explorer is doing the same thing. Any ideas?

Same thing has happened to me since D/L Firefox upgrade

I called my service provider (Rogers) and someone is coming to take a look at my modem, but now wondering if it's something with Firefox

Been through 3 dell laptops and one toshiba in my life and I'm still getting great use out of my mac 5 years after purchase (longest I've ever been able to use one laptop by far), although I'm now looking to updrage, not for performace reasons, just cuz.
