No I am not looking for the page that used to exist:D I am however wondering if anyone has actually ever won money with one. I mean I have to believe that there are at least a few out there that are legit, but even if they are is there anyone of you that have been disciplined enough to only play their games:shrug: Not looking for one and have never used one so please keep the names of touts out of it, but honestly has anyone besides the touts ever had a positive experience?

I'm almost positive there are some out there that make $$ over the long haul. I've had some success with some before, but I get more enjoyment doing the research myself and having my own systems/plays. More rewarding.

99.9999% of touts are pretty horrible at picking games, their job is to be good at marketing. And the vast majority of people who use services jump from guy to guy, which is even dumber than picking one guy and hoping he has a good year.

Having said all that, I can think of one guy who wins year in and year out with college hoops totals. You said you didn't want names so I won't name him, but I'm sure many of the people here know who I'm talking about.

I just know what this will turn into when names start getting thrown out there ya know.

I agree that most are just looking for a fast buck from a sucker. I kinda think of it as penny stock scammers. Yeah there are tons of those out there, but there are also some legit firms when it comes to stock picks, no? The jumping from service to service kinda just expands on my idea that if you are not disciplined it doesnt matter what you buy. I have also never understood the idea that buying picks means you have to hit a much higher percentage. I guess if you wager $25 a game and purchase a $1000 package that is true, but a 100-200+ dollar player buying a $500-1000 package doesnt seem like much in the grand scheme of things:shrug:

Exactly. That's why I didn't name names. Lorenzo is such a household name, he's right up there with Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. :SIB

I guess it depends on how you pay. Most of these guys have numerous "packages" that they sell. A lot of the small-time players don't want to pay for a weekly or monthly package, so they buy the daily package which is probably something like $20-$50. If you do that over and over during a long season, it's going to cost you a lot of money. Not to mention the fact that most of these touts lose over time, so paying the package price just compounds the problem.

You can always test. Take a tout pay 300 bucks. Ok your starting 300 bucks down. Also pick one of the guys from here that is free. See what happens.

There are 2 college hoop services who have been rock solid over the past 2 years. Post only a game or 2 per day. Maybe 3 from time to time and maybe none.. I like the fact that they pass. I was into the services but like was said 99 percent SUCK!

I find that there are 3 -4 college cappers here who I follow and then match with those services. I suck at college hoops so I make a list with all the picks and come up with a consensus and it works well.

About 1 in 2000 services are legit. I've used one for college hoops and college football for the last few years. I only play their plays. I never thought I would join a service after learning how crooked most are but this guy is really sharp. Lines move within 15 seconds of getting their plays. Really looking forward to the fall.

I am currently using a service. We win on a pretty consistent basis, but when we lose, it overrides most if not all of the winnings. It's hard to explain in writing. Overall, I don't make any money with this venture, but I stick with it hoping that it will show a profit in the long run. Has this happened? No. Why continue? This service is honest. How do I know? I've been with them for 8 years. Like I said, I don't show a profit, but I haven't lost my shirt either. I have been sports gambling since 1992. It's just too time consuming to handicap games on my own now. Yeah, it's more fun that way, but with a wife and two kids time is more important. So I pay a service to do the number crunching for me.

Just my experience.

Yeah, you're talking about the same guy I was. You're right, as soon as he releases his picks the lines jump 2-3 points. It became such a problem that he supposedly limited the number of subscribers last year to try and eradicate that problem. However, due to limiting the subscriber base I think he also raised the price significantly. He had a ridiculous year last year, though. One of his best ever, if I'm not mistaken.

Its still a pretty reasonable rate. You have to bet enough to make it worth while though. You can't bet $100 a unit and expect to win. Plus you have to get the bets down. If you can't its not worth it. I won't bet after the lines have moved.

I only bet golf on my own and follow his plays for the college sports and that is it.
