Championship Game...
Ga. Tech has proved time and time again they deserve to be here..They got overshadowed some playing in the Top Conference with Duke...But, this Team can flat out play...I said they were the best team from the ACC earlier on and got ripped by the RatFace faithful..But, thay have proven that to be true..
They are catching 5.5/6 tonight and I just cant believe they are still not getting any respect....this team is every bit as good as Duke..
But, linesmakers looked to have been right on as the public goes..edge to the favorite right now..
GTech pushed tempo against Ok State, especially early on, to get good shots before they could set their Defense...I am not sure they will want to do that tonight...UConn is at its best in up tempo styles..So, I would be surprised to see alot of pressing and running from Tech..
GT has have proven they can play any style of ball..slow or up tempo...but, i am betting tonight they try and make it Ugly and a game of half court sets, but, still taking advantage of fast break opportunities only when they arise....not forcing them..
UConn showed the true heart of a Champion Saturday...not panicking and relying on GREAT Defense down the stretch..they too can win Ugly if they need to...
With all that said...I still think UConn finds a way to win tonight...They just have too many quality, experienced players and that will be the difference late...

Side note: NYWG did NOT have a good NCAA tourney in the early rounds but he did predict U. Conn to WIN it all prior to the start.
Therefore his review and analysis of the game is even more interesting because of his pre tourney selection. He is based out of Philly and knows and leans to the Big East.
That he is calling for a close game victory at all is a fairly strong recommendation for G Tech.
