Larry Ness' 10* WAC Game of the Month

Selection: Nevada at Tulsa (8:05 ET) 10* Nevada. Trent Johnson left for Stanford after leading the Wolf Pack to a Sweet 16 appearance last year and assistant Mark Fox took over a team that had lost its best player (Snyder) and its two starting guards (Hill-Thomas and Okeson). While Johnson and Stanford are struggling, the Wolf Pack haven't MISSED A BEAT! The team is 12-5, including 5-1 in the WAC. They've won EIGHT of nine since a 4-3 start (only loss in OT vs UTEP), as 6-11 Nick Fazekas has stepped up BIG TIME (20.3-8.6)! He's helped up front by forward Kevinn Pinkney (12.9-7.8) and two swingmen, Charlo (9.3) and Washington (7.3-5.5). Sessions and Shiloh are not Thomas and Okeson in the backcourt but they have been SOLID! Tulsa is an example of a school that's fallen off the BKB map! Winning more than 500 games over its previous 25 years (with 13 NCAA appearamces and 5 NITs), the Golden Hurricane went 9-20 last year. This year they are 3-11 behind two solid forwards, Glenn (16.4-7.6) and Proce (15.6-5.1) but LITTLE ELSE! They are 2-6 SU and 0-4 ATS at home with four consecutive losses (0-3 ATS). In WAC play they are 0-5 SU asnd 1-4 ATS. All Nevada here!

WAC Game of the Month 10* Nevada.

Larry Ness' Double 10* NBA TV Parlay
Teaser: After a self-imposed 5-day hiatus in the NBA, Larry returned with a winner last night on his Eastern Conf Game of the Month. Tonight, he's DOUBLING-DOWN! Get BOTH of tonight's TNT games in the NBA on this single BLOCKBUSTER REPORT and pay only AFTER it shows a profit!
Selection: Hou Rockets at Orl Magic (8:05 ET) 10* Magic. T-Mac is back in Orlando tonight and he has NOT been missed! He also has NOT been the 'savior' the Rockets had hoped for. Ming and T-Mac are NOT the next Shaq and Kobe, as the Rockets are little more than an inconsistent .500 team! Four straight wins, including impressive wins over Dallas and San Antonio, have been followed by a 19-point loss at Memphis and a 13-point home loss to Indiana. In Orlando, the team has already matched its win total from ALL of last year. The Magic still have defensive problems but Francis (21.7-6.3-6.1) and Hill (18.8-4.0-3.7) have been great, plus Turkoglu (13.6) has been a consistent contibutor and high school sensation Howard (10.3-9.9) has grown up QUICKLY! Orlando has won six of its last eight overall after ending Detroit's six-game winning streak on Tuesday and is 13-4 SU at home this year. Not much of a point spread to cover in this one and you can expect the Magic to 'welcome' T-Mac home, by running the Rockets out of the arena. 10* Magic.

Cle Cavs at Sac Kings (10:35 ET) 10* Kings. LeBron became the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double in last night's 107-101 Cleveland win in Portland. Tough spot for the Cavs here though, as they will face the Kings with no rest. James is JAMES but Sacramento's starting five is as good as it gets in this league! Webber is having a super year averaging 21.8 PPG, including averages of 28.5 PPG, 13 RPG and 5.5 APG in the team's currrent five-game winning streak! Peja (20.6) and Brad Miller (14.0-8.9) join him in arguably the league's best starting front court. Bibby (17.1) is now teamed with Mobley (17.3 PPG and 4.3 APG in his first three games with the Kings) in the backcourt, making this one formidable team. The Kings are 25-7 since opening 1-4 and have beaten the Cavs SEVEN straight times overall and FIVE straight in Arco. No triple-double for LeBron tonight, just a double-digit loss for him and the Cavs. 10* Kings.

Larry Ness' 10* WCC Game of the Month

Selection: Portland at San Diego (10:00 ET) 10* San Diego. Portland comes into this contest with a better record (13-6) than San Diego (9-7) this year and while the Pilots won both meetings last year, it's the Toreros who are the 'play' here! San Diego has an excellent front line consisting of 6-8 seniors Vounang (16.7-7.4) and Gay (14.1-6.1) plus 6-10 junior Lewis (11.4-5.1). Portland counters with three players, none of whom average double-digits (best is freshman Marcus Lewis at 9.5)! Portland does have a good guard combo in Jeter (15.8) and Cooper (10.3) but the Pilots will be in REAL TROUBLE underneath. While San Diego comes in having won and covered its last four home games, Portland enters having gone 0-3 SU and ATS in its last three road games. Current form AND the matchups, BOTH favor the Toreros! WCC Game of the Month 10* San Diego.
