Kansas City vs. Anaheim
Take Anaheim Angels
Arms must start: Take Anaheim with Bartolo Colon over KC with Brian Anderson The Angels are one of baseball\'s most explosive offenses against left handed pitching, taxing southpaws harder than the IRS gets Willie Nelson. Eleven of the 14 batters on the Angels roster lineup on the right side of the plate, including monster bats like Vladimir Guerrero and designator hitter Jeff DaVanon. The 3 lefties they do have on the roster are 3 of the best in the business hitting left-handed pitching. Darren Erstad has a career .324 OBP against left handers, down just .19 points from his career mark against right-handers. Cleanup hitter Garret Anderson has an amazing lifteim ERA of .291 against left-handed pitching. That\'s down just .12 from his lifetime mark against right handers. New Angel Steve Finley has a career OBP of .311 against left-handed hurlers and a staggering 2,516 at-bats against lefties in his career. In other words, there really is nowhere to hide for lefties against the Angels as they are vulnerable throughout the order, no matter what the lineup is. That\'s not good news for Royals southpaw Brian Anderson, making his first start of the season, who is already a lifetime loser against the Angels with just 2 wins peppered in over 9 starts. Angels 7, Royals 3. Take Anaheim (LA)
