Settle an Argument

I have been discussing this with some friends of mine. They are NCSU fans. NCSU was beaten by Maryland,Virginia, and Georgia Tech. They all say that NCSU is the better team. I say it is settled on the field as to who is better. An upset in my opinion is a 2-8 team beating an 8-2 team. Two teams going up against each other with a difference in the record of 1-3 games are pretty much even and that the better team usually wins those match ups. This has been a big debate and I just want a third party opinion.

Don't discuss anything with State fans. They will never drop their loyalty, it is impossible to have them objectively discuss any sports topic that might involve the pack.
