Can anyone watching that game explain why SF kicked a FG w/ 1:51 to play down 7 w/ 4th &10 from the StLou 28? (Other than Nolan having SF +4)

Sure you can then win it with a TD, but you've got to try and get the TD first. If you don't make it, hold 'em and you'll still get decent field position (assuming you have 3 TO's).

I must be missing something here.
