He grabbed just 5 rebounds in Game 1, and a lot of people are expecting him to 'bounce back', but the numbers don't suggest that he will.
Miami has played Detroit 4 times now this season...Shaq has played in 3;
17 rebounds...but with Ben Wallace out of the Detroit team.

And, as a comparison, in last years play-offs, Shaq (for LA obviously) had 11, 7, 8, 20 & 8...
...intersting to note that the 2 times he got over 8 rebounds were on more than 1 day rest.
Shaq has always been more effective when he has more time to rest, and that is more evident than ever right now with his injury.
