GAME: Houston Rockets (27-24) at Los Angeles Lakers (26-25).
TIME: Tuesday, 10:30 p.m. EST.
Someday, Shaquille O'Neal and Yao Ming might battle in the playoffs. This season, they are battling just to get in.
The two centers will not face each other Tuesday, but there is still plenty at stake when the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers meet in an important Western Conference game.
This game was supposed to be the second meeting between O'Neal and Yao, but that will not happen now because O'Neal is out with a sore left knee.
PROBABLE STARTERS: Rockets - F Eddie Griffin, F James Posey, C Yao, G Francis, G Cuttino Mobley. Lakers - F Rick Fox, F Robert Horry, C Samaki Walker, G Bryant, G Derek Fisher.
