Canada
not surprised though you would think that more people themselves would look into where they are putting their investments.

in Canada most stocks are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange TSX, and many smaller jr. are traded on another exchange (also owned by the TSX), however before that small company exchange was Alberta and Vancouver, they all had some incredible stories. Vancouver especially had numerous scams, that most people would even found it hard to believe that they existed.

hope there is more sites that report the scams, or incredibly poorly run... have not found a site that would detail and archive some of the big scams in the past....could have one web site just dedicated to mining and tech scams, by listed companies.
not sure though it would be good for general research there does not seem to be much interest in the past blowups.

a series of books written by Adreas Schroeder (can get them in Canada, though may be out of print), are funny and just shows you can fool all the people, at least for a while.

one of the books is titled. Scams, Scandals, and Skulduggery

thanks

That's a good idea about a website. But instead of focusing on the companies that were scams, simply focus on the people who were heading them up and what they are doing now.
