Did you see the interview after the game?

Did you see the interview after the game?

I actually got a kick out of it !

The scoop was he had a friend in Shawn Springs Luxury Box which is on the edge of the field in Seattle. He promised his friend if he scored he would give him the ball. So he asked the trainer for a marker knowing they were driving down the field towards the box where his friend was... He said he knew they were gonna score so he just pulled the marker signed it and handed it to him...

Now imagine if that was you and your favorite NFL star or NFL friend !

Way Cool !

He's good for show but you dont win championships with a**holes like him on your team!!! If I was his coach, he'd have that pen in his hand next sunday, along with a clipboard. His a** definitely wouldnt be playing!!! Mariucci obviously has no control over that team or Owens!!

What a joke!!

I agree.I'm sure there is not a rule against it in the No Fun League, but I'm sure he will get warned not to do it again. He's to good a player to be doing a$$hole sh!t like that.Thats just as bad as doing his little dance on Dallas' star.If the guy was a good friend like he said he was , he could have just given him the ball AFTER the game. On the other hand , That was a nice TD.I was all over the Over And SF.But he shouldn't have rubbed it in that way.I think the Seattle players should have let him know about it.

Disagree Kid, the hags were getting away with all sorts of shit as it was last night in the 1H. Unecessay roughness outta bounds, slapping Garcia in the head, etc. I personally have no problem with what Owens did. It may have seemed cocky to us, but at least it wasn't dirty. JMO

I was bothered more by Owens making a scene and yelling at the OC and Garcia cause he didn't get every pass thrown his way. Madden hinted Owens "might" be a selfish player. Hello, Madden. They might as well nickname him West Coast Randy. As for the pen incident, it was so bizarre and creative, it didn't really bother me. At least he wasn't showing anyone else up. But somebody else is going to try it, and take a hard hit toward the lower leg and is going to get one big cut. Ouch.

It was funny but dangerous. He'll receice a fine for having a foreign object on the field. As far as how cocky it was.......I say it is becoming way to typical with today's "look at me" athletes.

What is the difference? A dance, a shuffle, a high five, or a signed NFL ball? Nothing! Owens is a showman and that is it! He feeds off of that kind of attention! I think if he can back up his antics with his play then give him a box of pens! But if he is a turd on the field, sit down and shut up!

By the way.....how many of you guys that did not like what he did were on Seattle and the points? Just a thought.

See thats the problem here you can't detach an NON-FACTOR event from the $$$$$.

T.O. signing a ball had no effect on the win or loss.

T.O. is a showman ! Period ! If he did that after he scored on the

Dolphins I would have just been like Wow this guy is a trip !

I just wish he was giving me the damn football !

No big deal at all - I thought it was original and hysterical.

I like to see someone flip the ball to the ref and head back to the bench on occassion but I do like a little celebration as well - S#it, this game is all about emotion so why shouldn't they
celebrate????

If it's a great player doing it (like Owens), at least he can back it up. If it was Tai Streets, I would have thrown up........

Just my 2 cents..............

how many of you guys that did not like what he did were on Seattle and the points?

i was on the niners..

Hearst said he was wondering what his teamate was thinking about, b/c it sure wasnt football..

this is a good point. do you want a teamate who is thinking of creative ways to celebrate,or a teamate who has his head in the game?
