Footage posted to YouTube late last week shows a Brazilian girl being pulled out of the way of an oncoming train at quite literally the very last second.
According to local reports, the incident took place at the Corinthians-Itaquera Metro station in S?o Paulo. The woman had allegedly leaped onto the tracks in order to retrieve her cellphone after it slipped out of her hands.
Metro officials confirmed the March 26th incident to Globo's G1 portal, and said the woman was not injured.
They added that the S?o Paulo Metropolitan Trains Company's safety standards had been violated, but it remains unclear if the woman will be charged with a crime.
