Sherlock Holmes review

I liked this movie. I give it a solid 3.5 stars out of 5. At times, it may have been hard to follow but it all unfolds near the end. Also, the ending left it wide open for a sequel.

Synopsis from Yahoo:

Robert Downey Jr. brings the legendary detective to life as he has never been portrayed before. Jude Law stars as Holmes' trusted colleague, Watson, a doctor and war veteran who is a formidable ally for Sherlock Holmes. Rachel McAdams stars as Irene Adler, the only woman ever to have bested Holmes and who has maintained a tempestuous relationship with the detective. Mark Strong stars as their mysterious new adversary, Blackwood. Kelly Reilly will play Watson's love interest, Mary.

Did you not like it? 2 people in front of us walked out, but other than that the theater was full. Actually they opened up 2 extra showings of it because their was a lot of demand for the movie. We lucked out and got great seats.

It was good and worth the price of admission (I got a free movie ticket from Fandango), but might want to wait to see this one on video - it wasn't 4 stars by no means. My 3.5 stars was being generous.
