I don't know that I've ever seen a game where an offense has initiated contact so often, and yet they never get the call. How many times has Marquette driven to the basket and a ND defender has left their feet trying to block the shot, but no foul gets called when they clearly get the shooter with the body. Amazing.

Having said that, Marquette deserves to lose this game. I don't have much sympathy for teams that can't make wide open jumpshots.

It is really bad....the benefit certain teams get especially at home, like ND, Duke, & UCLA come to mind, it really is a black eye on the sport. Even a casual viewer laughs at the one sidedness.

Or a team that repeatedly sits outside the arc and launches 3 balls, going down or not. Playing 4 gaurds (or what looks like 4 gaurds) is killing Marquette...I agree with the statement but every time they get within 3 or take the lead the coach goes small again, thus taking them out of the rebounding game and in the paint play.

Absolutely. I don't watch as much as hoops as I used to simply because it's mostly 1 on 1 and players jacking 3's every time down the floor. College still isn't nearly as unwatchable as the NBA but it's definitely not as enjoyable for me to watch as it used to be.

Marq is playing like crap. They just tried an alley-oop on a 2-on-1 when they are down by 10. They deserve to lose.

I didn't take anyone on the side, but have the Over.

Sounds to me like you guys should be making a mint on Notre Dame!

 Dont get it. From READING it looks like we are on Marquette, game not over:nono: They need to go with what was working and keep driving the lane:00hour . They look MORE AGGRESSIVE in the start of the half and the refs upchucked the whistle 2 or 3 times already this half:scared . Lots of time left:SIB

well if ND keeps launching AND hitting 3s you will be safe. I think Marquette tightens this game up in this half:box2: But you probably have the safest bet in THIS thread

The refs love ND at home, it's so annoying to watch.

If a guy "knows" all of this going in......why aren't they on Notre Dame? :mj07:

ND doing a number on Marquette. Looks like they're getting some payback for the last game. Still a long way to go, but it's looking good for ND backers. If I would bet on my leans instead of my actual plays I'd be a rich man. :mj07:

more 3s for Marquette:shrug: . Some defense and we are right back in this, instead of PUTTING THESE BASTARDS TO THE LINE EVERY TRIP DOWN. MOVE YOUR FU(KING FEET AND PLAY DEFENSE, now I feel better.

Everytime Marquette pulls the close the refs starting calling fouls on them...:mj07:

The foul on that 3 was a weak call, the one on Mak's lay up was non existent.
